A Moment Awake

Sometimes I see a video that pulls at my heartstrings, its message resonating so deeply that it transcends my everyday perspective.
In these moments,
I realize that every message I encounter feels as if it's being presented to and understood by the whole world through my eyes.
More precisely, I've identified my own mind so deeply with the world around me that I feel humanity's collective emotions and how this powerful message relates to our shared experience.
What happens next is even more surprising. I become fully aware that I'm viewing this entire experience through my own eyes.
While this may seem obvious,
my awareness has typically been immersed in the narratives of my daily life,
forgetting that I'm a conscious being observing it all like a play—
through the screen of my brain's holographic impulses connected to my eyes.
In that moment of full realization I feel I am closer than ever to being truly awake and aware of this profound experience we call life.
Sometimes, a scene from a movie or a melody from a soundtrack lifts an invisible veil from my eyes.
My ears begin to ring, and I see the world projected onto my eyes as if on a movie screen.
I am the silent observer.
Like a dream going from one door into another or one conversation to the next, becomes a game of reality roulette.
What reality am I plugged into…
the one I want or the one I have been fed..
Everything that isn't this moment doesn't exist so if I'm truly going to feel alive there is no such thing as time to waste..
It is better to be aware of the clarity of your mind than to let the lens you see the entire world through become dirty and inaccurate.
